Listen to the ocean- my entry for painting #7

Listen to the ocean
As it sings its lullaby
Gently swinging
Under the indigo sky

Wrapped in memories
Drifting with the waves
Gently swinging
Serenity of self saved

Swaying in the moment
Hear the gulls cry
Gently swinging
Let you spirit fly

Sounds across the water
Calling to your soul
Gently swinging
Your reality unfolds

Listen to the ocean
As it sings its lullaby
Gently swinging
Under the indigo sky
Smiles....Red

Gently swinging

I like this word choice, it gives movement to the hamock.

Drifting with the waves...ah yes that is be exactly what I would be doing. Your poem flows beautifully.

Aww, such a relaxing poem; almost like a song lyric!
Thanks,

Oh Red...
I can feel the warm breeze and the softness of the words floating through as I swing with one leg dangling from the comfy peace of the hammock...
very very nice!

This was a nice and gentle poem, thanks Red, and nice to meet you. I found myself most interested in "serenity of self saved." I'd like to think for this simple moment the reality of self was saved in the sway of serenity accepted. Very good!
