"Full Cirlce"

We sit together and share our stories,
of our children long gone and grown
with photographs of our younger generations.
We remember grander times
and forget all the worries that
carried us to this our present time.
We speak of times before our bodies
became less forgiving, less painful
when they worked for us, not against us.
We speak of only a few regrets
but mostly of times well lived
and cherish the time we have left.
We speak with fond memories of the
ones who have passed before us
and of how well they lived their lives.
We know what it is like
to have come full circle
We know the meaning of life.

I love this interpretation of the picture and old age!

Full circle indeed!

You spoke for so many people with those words. Wonderful.

I hope as I age that I will be like the women you have described here...holding onto the good memories and times and finding comfort in them.
